can be factory installed or can be installed as a field upgrade for supported standard or custom models.
HDD Rear Kit: The HDD Rear Kit (00KA058) is installed in place of the PCIe slots 1 and 2 (see the "I/O
expansion options" section), and it includes a special riser that provides PCIe 3.0 x16 slot 3. No other riser
cards can be used when the HDD Rear Kit is installed. 145 W processors cannot be used when the HDD
Rear Kit is installed. The HDD Rear Kit is connected to the SAS expander on the 10-drive backplane.
