Automatic Dial-Up

The automatic dial-up function will automatically set the DNS and default gateway of the UC-8410A-LX.

IMPORTANT

Before using the cellular gateway settings, remove the default gateway configuration that you might have

set in your

UC-8410A-LX.

cell_mgmt start

Starts a network connection using the cellular module of the UC-8410A-LX.

When you run the cell_mgmt start command, the APN, Username, Password, and PIN are written to the

config file: /etc/qmi-network.conf. This information is then used if you run the command without specifying the

command options.

Syntax:

cell_mgmt start APN=[APN] Username=[user] Password=[pass] PIN=[pin_code]

cell_mgmt stop

Stops the network connection on the cellular module of the UC-8410A-LX.

cell_mgmt restart

Restarts the network connection on the cellular module of the UC-8410A-LX.

Resets the cellular module in the UC-8410A-LX.
