55.2 Reiniging
Kan
Veeg de kan met een vochtige doek af.
55.3 Ontkalken
Afhankelijk van de hardheid van het water moet u het apparaat om de twee weken
ontkalken.
Vul de kan met water en een gangbaar ontkalkingsmiddel of doe een scheut azijn in het
water. Verwarm het mengsel, maar laat het niet koken om overkoken te voorkomen. Spoel
de kan na het ontkalken met schoon water.
Tip
► Regelmatig ontkalken van uw VAKO² zal het elektriciteitsverbruik reduceren en de
levensduur van uw apparaat verlengen.
56 Storingen verhelpen
In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke informatie m.b.t. het lokaliseren van storingen en het
verhelpen van storingen. Let u op de aanwijzingen om gevaren en beschadigingen te
voorkomen.
56.1 Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Voorzichtig
► Reparaties aan elektrische apparaten mogen alleen uitgevoerd worden door
gekwalificeerd vakpersoneel dat door de fabrikant is geschoold.
► Door ondeskundige reparaties kunnen aanzienlijke gevaren voor de gebruiker ontstaan,
evenals schaden aan het apparaat.
Probleem Oorzaak Oplossing
Het apparaat schakelt uit voordat
het water kookt of de gewenste
temperatuur is bereikt.
De kan is te sterk
verkalkt.
Ontkalken.
Het apparaat kan niet worden
ingeschakeld.
Het apparaat is nog
niet goed afgekoeld.
Laat het apparaat eerst
afkoelen.
57 Afvoer van het oude apparaat
Oude elektrische en elektronische apparaten bevatten vaak nog waardvolle
materialen. Ze bevatten echter ook schadelijke stoffen, die voor hun
