Installing the display assembly
1. Align the display assembly with the chassis.
2. Route the WLAN and display assembly cables through the cable securing tabs.
3. Tighten the display hinges screws to secure the display assembly.
4. Install the:
a. coin cell battery
b. system board
c. power connector
d. keyboard
e. WLAN card
f. I/O board
g. memory module
h. heat sink
i. base cover
j. optical drive
k. battery
5. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
Removing the display bezel
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. battery
b. optical drive
c. keyboard
d. base cover
e. hard drive assembly
f. optical drive
g. WLAN card
h. I/O board
i. memory module
j. coin cell battery
k. heat sink
l. system board
m. power connector
n. display assembly
3. To disconnect the display bezel:
a. By using a plastic scribe, release the tabs on the edges to release the display bezel from the
display assembly [1].
b. Remove the display bezel display assembly [2].
