Introduction
1-1 Overview
The SuperServer 1028R-WC1R(T) is a high-end server comprised of two main
subsystems: the SC116AC-R706WBP 1U chassis and the X10DRW-i(T) dual
processor serverboard. Please refer to our web site for information on operating
systems that have been certifi ed for use with the system (www.supermicro.com).
In addition to the serverboard and chassis, various hardware components have been
included with the SuperServer 1028R-WC1R(T), as listed below:

- A 24 pin main power supply connector jpwr1 and two 8 pin cpu power connectors jpwr2 jpwr3 are located on the serverboard these power connectors meet the ssi eps 12v specifi cation and must be connected to your power supply to provide adequate power to the system see the tables on the right for pin defi nitions

- A video vga port is located next to usb 0 1 on the i o backplane refer to the serverboard layout below for the location
- A chassis intrusion header is located at jl1 on the serverboard attach an appropriate cable from the chassis to inform you of a chassis intrusion when the chassis is opened

- Two ethernet ports lan1 lan2 are located on the i o backplane these ethernet ports support 10g lan connections on the x10drw it and gigabit lan connections on the x10drw i in addition an ipmi_ dedicated lan that supports gigabit lan is located above usb 0 1 ports on the backplane all ethernet ports accept rj45 type cables please refer to the led indicator section for lan led information
