Connecting the Control Panel
JF1 contains header pins for various front control panel connectors. See Figure 5-1
for the pin locations of the various front control panel buttons and LED indicators.
All JF1 wires have been bundled into a single cable to simplify this connection.
Make sure the red wire plugs into pin 1 as marked on the board. The other end
connects to the Control Panel PCB board, located just behind the system status
LEDs on the chassis. Use the 70-cm 20-pin to 20-pin 20-AWG front control cable
(CBL-0335L) to connect to the control panel connections

- A 24 pin main power supply connector jpwr1 and two 8 pin cpu power connectors jpwr2 jpwr3 are located on the serverboard these power connectors meet the ssi eps 12v specifi cation and must be connected to your power supply to provide adequate power to the system see the tables on the right for pin defi nitions

- A chassis intrusion header is located at jl1 on the serverboard attach an appropriate cable from the chassis to inform you of a chassis intrusion when the chassis is opened
