Chapter 5: Advanced Serverboard Setup
Chapter 5 provides detailed information on the X10DRW-i(T) serverboard,
including the locations and functions of connections, headers and jumpers. Refer
to this chapter when adding or removing processors or main memory and when
reconfi guring the serverboard.
Chapter 6: Advanced Chassis Setup
Refer to Chapter 6 for detailed information on the SC116AC-R706WBP server
chassis. You should follow the procedures given in this chapter when installing,
removing or reconfi guring drives and when replacing system power supply units
and cooling fans.

- A 24 pin main power supply connector jpwr1 and two 8 pin cpu power connectors jpwr2 jpwr3 are located on the serverboard these power connectors meet the ssi eps 12v specifi cation and must be connected to your power supply to provide adequate power to the system see the tables on the right for pin defi nitions

- A video vga port is located next to usb 0 1 on the i o backplane refer to the serverboard layout below for the location
- A chassis intrusion header is located at jl1 on the serverboard attach an appropriate cable from the chassis to inform you of a chassis intrusion when the chassis is opened

- This serverboard has six system cpu fan headers fan 1 fan 4 fan a and fan b on the serverboard all these 4 pin fans headers are backward compatible with the traditional 3 pin fans however fan speed control is available for 4 pin fans only the fan speeds are controlled by thermal management via ipmi 2 interface see the table on the right for pin defi nitions
