Set the desired power value by pressing the power
adjustment buttons , (11,9).
SAFBAG dust bag disassembly/assembly

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a dust bag full
indicator (8). When the dust bag full indicator (8) lights
during operation (with the nozzle or the brush lifted above
the cleaned surface) it means that the bag is full and needs
to be replaced. In addition the dust bag full indicator (8) may
activate if the suction hose or the elements attached to the
suction hose are clogged (suction power – level 5).

Switch off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the “on/off”
button (7) and unplug the appliance

Press the two side buttons on the end of the hose and
remove the hose end from the inlet opening of the vacuum
cleaner.

Release the upper cover fastening (12) and open the cover.

Remove the SAFBAG dust bag module (18) from the
vacuum cleaner chamber.

Grab the dust bag cover, gently bend it towards the
inside and remove the whole dust bag upwards.

Insert the plate of the new dust bag in the tracks of the
SAFBAG dust bag module (18) and slide it until stop. The
direction for inserting the dust bag is indicated by the arrow
on the bag.

Slide the SAFBAG dust bag module together with the
installed bag in the tracks located on the side of the vacuum
cleaner chamber. Close the cover by pressing it until you
hear a characteristic click – pay attention not to trap the
dust bag.

lockingtheuppercoveroftheappliance.
ZELMER vacuum cleaners are equipped with SAFBAG dust
bags in the amount indicated in the table. It is recommended
to replace the dust bag if:
a) the dust bag full indicator lights up,
b) the vacuum cleaner operates poorly,
c) the dust bag is full.
Filter disassembly
Before changing the lters make sure that the vacuum
cleaner is switched off and unplugged from the mains
supply.
HEPA OUTLET FILTER
The vacuum cleaners are equipped with an H11 outlet lter
HEPA (High Efciency Particulate Air). The HEPA lter has
been designed to maximize its ltration capability through
special bers, which are able to retain almost all dust
particles. The H11 class determines the permeability of
a lter. The HEPA H11 lter retains 95,5% of particles of 0.3
micron.

To replace the HEPA lter lift the vacuum cleaner handle
and open the accessory compartment.

Grab the lter cover by the fastening, rmly pull with the
thumb and lift it upwards

Remove the HEPA lter case and replace it with a new
one. The HEPA lter ensures an effective operation of the
vacuum cleaner for about 1 year.

Insert the cover so that the two protrusions in the lower
part of the cover are inserted in the openings of the vacuum
cleaner body, press the lter cover so that the rear fastenings
snap shot on the body.
INLET FILTER

Release the upper cover fastening (12) and open the
cover.

Remove the SAFBAG dust bag module (18) from the
vacuum cleaner chamber.

Slide the inlet lter casing with the installed inlet lter
from the tracks on the back side of the vacuum cleaner
chamber.

Remove the inlet lter (16) from the inlet lter casing.

Place the new lter in the inlet lter casing (17) with the
material side directed towards the inside of the casing.

Slide the inlet lter casing (17) together with the lter in
the tracks until stop to the previous position.
Alwaysreplaceadamagedinletlter(16)with
abrandnew,originalone.

Insert the SAFBAG dust bag module to the vacuum
cleaner chamber.

Close the cover by pressing it until you hear
a characteristic click – pay attention not to trap the dust bag.
Special accessories
The following special accessories may be purchased in retail
outlets:
Zelmer turbobrush (22)
May be used with all types of ZELMER vacuum cleaners. Is
used for an effective vacuuming of carpets and tted carpets.
While using the turbobrush follow the instruction manual.
The use of the turbobrush decidedly increases the
effectiveness of removing brous dirt such as: animal hair,
hair, threads etc. It is practically useful in households with
pets (cats, dogs), where removing the animal hair from the
carpets and oorings is very onerous.
