Biral L 322 [23/56] Electrical connection

Biral L 322 [23/56] Electrical connection
The electrical connection must be made by an expert.
I.E.E. regulations must be complied with.
Please observe NIN (CENELEC) regulations.
5. Electrical connection
In the case of higher water temperatures (over 80 °C),
use an appropriate heat-resistant connecting line.
The connecting line must not touch the piping, or the pump
and motor casings. In the case of twin pumps (series
LD ...
),
a separate connecting line with all-pole switch is to be provided
for each pump motor (operating reliability!).
Be sure to provide protection against dripping water and a mains
lead cleat at the cable inlet to the connection box (gland)!
Preliminary fuse: (rated current × 1.5) mx. 16 A, delay-action
Wire cross section: max. 2.5 mm
2
.
Starting current: max. 3 x rated current.
The electrical connection must be made in accordance
with the data plate. To simplify later replacement,
the electrical connection should be looped.
5.1 Plug
Type A
(3× 400 V~)
Warning:
With mains connection 3
×
400 V~
only use plug
Type A!
If plug
Type B
is used
(as accessory for 1
×
230 V~/3
×
230 V~)
the motor will be destroyed!
The motor has two speed steps.
With the
Type A
plug, 2 speeds can be set manually
(see Section 5.2
«Power setting»
).
If the voltage is wrong, the motor will be damaged.
Motor protection (CEC, 11,12) must be connected.
(Accessory control unit BC 712W, BC 752, etc.)
Note:
- With power supply 1× 230 V~/3× 230 V~
plug
Type B
must be requested.
- For external speed switchover, step I, II,
e.g. using Biral control unit BC 715 W or BC 755,
plug
Type C
must be requested.
Warning:
