Digital Diversity Receiver Digital Diversity Receiver Function Selection 2 GRP Setup and Change of Group Frame of GRP indicator starts flashing Rotary Control Knob To change parameters Eight parameters can be selected on the screen by means of the rotary control knob The functions and operations are described below TLT r Ln LT LT r n r tn r n SQ I GRP I CH I ANT I j EQ ADD A ft Turn clockwise to change group in increasing manner from 1 9 A Operating Procedure a Press the rotary knob 8 or 11 to change 8 different parameters The currently selected mode will begin flashing Rotate the knob to set parameters while flashing Turn counterclockwise to change group in decreasing manner from 9 1 b Rotate the knob clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to decrease the parameter If there is no action taken for 5 seconds the screen will automatically stop flashing and save the selected parameter Or push the rotary knob 8 or 11 to stop the flashing and save the selected parameter 1 SQ Setup and Change of Squelch Level A Operating Procedure a a Press the rotary knob 8 or 11 to change to the group parameter When the GRP frame flashes the group number is ready for set up b Rotate the knob 8 or 11 clockwise to increase the GRP number counterclockwise to decrease the GRP Press knob again to set the selected GRP number 3 CH Setup and Change of Channel Frame of CH indicator starts flashing Frame of SQ indicator starts flashing Turn clockwise to AUTO SCAN next interference free frequency in increasing manner from 1 16 Turn clockwise to increase by 1 one segment Turn counterclockwise to AUTO SCAN next interference free frequency in decreasing manner from 16 1 Turn counterclockwise to decrease by 1 one segment A Operating Procedure A Operating Procedure a Press the rotary knob 8 or 11 to change to the channel parameter When the CH frame flashes the channel is ready for set up A Press the rotary knob 8 or 11 to change to the squelch parameter When the SQ frame flashes the squelch level is ready for set up b Rotate the knob 8 or 11 clockwise to go to a higher CH number counterclockwise to go to a lower number Press knob again to set the selected CH number b Rotate the knob 8 or 11 clockwise to increase the SQ level counterclockwise to decrease the level Press the knob again to set the selected SQ level NOTE When SQ is set at 0 zero the AutoScan function will be disabled and users are free to select any group or channel they should desire NOTE The lower the setting of the SQ parameter the higher the sensitivity will be However when the SQ is set at 0 zero the AutoScan function will be disabled and users are then free to select any group or channel they should desire 8 9
