PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION REF.
The transceiver does not turn
ON.
• The battery is exhausted.
• T
he battery pack is not attached cor-
rectly.
• Recharge the battery pack.
• Attach the battery pack correctly.

No sound from speaker. • The squelch level is too high.
• Volume level is too low.
• Speaker has been exposed to water.
• Set the
squelch

threshold
level.
• Adjust the audio level to a suitable level.

- When this function is turned on rejection of noise is im proved so that the audio is not easily affected by noise 26
