BASIC OPERATION Mode selection Setting a frequency VFO mode is used for setting a desired frequency within the O Via the keypad band range Push VFO to select VFO mode Push VFO to select VFO mode 0000 I Push from 4 digit the 1 keys MHz starting digit to input a frequency When a digit is mistakenly input push VFO CLR and input from the beginning 0 2 5 and 7 are accept able for the 1 kHz digits de pending on the 10 kHz digit Memory call mode is used for operation of memory call channels which have programmed frequencies O Other methods VIA THE DIAL Rotate DIAL to change the frequency ac cording to the set tuning steps Log memory repeater memory mode is used to recall your last transmitted frequency or the frequency and duplex set tings for the last repeater used repeater memory Subsequent pushes toggle between the 2 modes FUNC THE DIAL While pushing FUNC rotate select step Push LOG M once to select the log memory and again to select the VIA DIAL to change the frequency according to the set dia 680LG H 140 0 i0rP VIA THE A V KEYS Push A V to increment decre ment the frequency according to the set tuning steps NOTE Pushing V for more than 1 sec activates a scan push or V again momentarily to stop it
