ADVANCED FUNCTIONS 4 Priority watch O Operation The priority watch checks for signals on a memory or call Set the desired memory or call channel as the watching Select VFO then set a frequency channel every 5 sec while operating on a VFO frequency The transceiver has 2 priority watch types to suit your needs You can transmit on the VFO frequency while the priority Push CALL for the call channel Push FUNC PRIO to start the watch The transceiver checks the memory or call channel frequency watch operates When channel Push MR then rotate DIAL for a memory channel receiving a signal priority watch pauses according to the set scan resume condition every 5 sec While the watch is pausing pushing VFO CLR resumes the watch manually Push VFO CLR while the display shows the VFO fre Memory channel watch Call channel watch quency to stop the watch omo While pausing on a memory channel PRIO flashes NOTE Priority watch does not operate when the pager or code squelch function is activated pgs 27 28 If the optional transceiver pocket automatically beep selects function the is tone activated squelch the func tion when priority watch starts 24
