4 ADVANCED FUNCTIONS O Frequency skip function O Scan resume condition The resume condition can be selected as a pause or timer pause scan full or programmed scan the frequency skip function is available signal The non programmed frequency memory is channel programmed as a skip into the highest frequency Skip frequencies are subsequently skipped during scanning NOTE When the frequency skip function is turned OFF pushing FUNC MR MW while scan is paused on a signal overwrites the frequency as a regular memory channel O The resume condition is used for scan and priority watch p 24 Push FUNC MR MW while scan is paused on an unde sired Frequency skip function ON OFF SET MODE Push FUNC SET to enter set mode 2 Push V or one or more times SKIP If It I IJ J M Pb SKIP Rotate DIAL to turn programmed OFF P5 skip scan ON or OFF When selecting ON programmed skip scan is activated for full or pro grammed scan and SKIP appears and flashes during scanning Push VFO CLR to set the condition and to exit set mode Push FUNC SET to enter set mode 2 Push V or one or more times until SC appears Rotate DIAL to select the desired scan resume condition T 15 scan pauses for 15 sec on a received signal T 10 scan pauses for 10 sec on a received signal T 05 scan pauses for 5 sec on a received signal P 02 scan pauses on a received signal until it disappears PSP 5C Push VFO CLR to set the condition and to exit set mode fif until PS appears SKIP also appears 23 SET MODE When you want to skip undesired signals that inconveniently
