Boringawall holeand installing wallembedded pipe.
• Forwalls containing metal frame or metal board, be sure to use awall
embedded pipe and wall cover in the feed-through holetoprevent possible
heat, electrical shock, or fire.
• Be sure to caulkthe gaps aroundthe pipeswith caulking materialtoprevent
water leakage.
1) Bore afeed-through hole of 65mm in thewall so it has adown slope
towardthe outside.
2) Insert awallpipe into thehole.
3) Insert awallcover into wall pipe.
4) After completingrefrigerant piping, wiring, and drain piping, caulk pipehole
gapwithputty.

Installing indoor unit.
• In the case of bending or curingrefrigerantpipes,keepthe following
precautions in mind.
Abnormal sound may be generated if improperworkisconducted.
1) Do not stronglypress the refrigerant pipesontothe bottom frame.
2) Do not strongly press the refrigerant pipes on the frontgrille,either.

Right-side, right-back, or rig ht-bottom piping.
1) Attach the drainhose to theunderside of the refrigerant pipeswith
an adhesivevinyl tape.
2) Wrap therefrigerantpipes anddrainhose togetherwithan
insulation tape.
3) Pass the drain hose andrefrigerant pipes through the wall hole,
then set theindoorunitonthe mounting plate hooks by using the
markings at thetop of the indoor unitasaguide.
4) Open the front panel,thenopenthe service lid.

Pass theinterconnecting wires from theoutdoor unit through the
feed-throughwallholeand then throughthe backofthe indoor
unit.Pullthemthroughthe front side.Bendthe ends of tiewires
upwardfor easier work in advance.(If the interconnecting wire
ends aretobestrippedfirst, bundle wire ends with adhesive
tape.)
6) Press the bottom frame of theindoor unit with both hands to set
it on themountingplatehooks. Make sure the wires do not
catch on theedgeofthe indoor unit.
