CHASSIS 7 24 1 5 Invert the fork and stroke it several times to let out fork oil 16 Under the inverted condition of front fork drain oil to hold it for few minutes 17 Remove the damper rod bolt with a 8 mm hexagon wrench NOTE If it is difficult to loosen the damper rod bolt reassemble the fork spring spacer and cap bolt 18 Remove the damper rod and plate CAUTION Do not attempt to disassemble the damper rod 19 Remove the dust seal 20 Remove the oil seal stopper ring 21 Remove the oil seal by slowly pulling out the inner tube NOTE Be careful not to damage the inside of the tube CAUTION The outer tube and inner tube ANTI FRICTION metals must be replaced along with oil seal and dust seal when assembling the front fork
