INTRODUCTION 1 INTRODUCTION This Operator s Manual provides a listing of precautions to be observed when using the EP5400 detailed instructions for operation of the EP5400 the procedures for replenishing consumables and some trouble shooting tips To ensure the best performance and effective use of the EP5400 read this Manual carefully until you familiarize yourself thoroughly with the operation and features We particularly recommend that you study Part 6 Main Control Panel until you become completely familiar with the functions of each Key and the meaning of each Condition Indicator Only the color blue is used in this Manual to show which Keys to depress which Indicators light up which parts of the copier to handle and the color of copies when in a Color Copy Mode This blue is not the actual color seen when using the copier It has been used only to make the Key Indicator copier part or copy being explained stand out Please use this Manual as a quick and handy reference tool for clarifying immediately any questions which may arise A pocket into which it can be inserted is conveniently located on the rear side of the EP5400 1
