DUPLEXING DOCUMENT FEEDER AFR 1 AUTOMATIC DOCUMENT FEEDER AF 1 AUTO MAGNIFICATION SELECT MODE Selectthe desired Original Mode and the Copy Mode Place the originals on the Document Feed Tray Depress the Mode Select Key until the Auto Magnification Select Indicator lights up D Selectthe desired paper size Depress the Print Key Enter the desired number of copies Q AFR 1 ORIGINAL FACE UP Green AF 1 ORIGINAL FACE DOWN fc Iu The copier automatically selects the appropriate magnification ratio and a copy cycle begins When the A6 Size Original is used selectthe Manual Mode AF 1 AFR 1 Place the originals face up on the Document Feed Tray Place the originals face down on the Document Feed Tray If you would like to make a file margin on the copy set the originals as shown in the illustration If you would like to make a file margin on the copy set the originals as shown in the illustration Any magnification ratio ranging from X0 500 to X2 000 is set automatically 1 sided Originals 2 sided Copies 2 sided Originals 1 sided copies When the magnification ratio falls outside the above range Set the originals crosswise AFR 1 AF 1 When the originals are set lengthwise You have 2 sided copies with the top and bottom inverted between the front and back sides 1 sided copies are ejected at the opposite direction alternately If an odd number of originals are used for 1 sided originals 2 sided copy or 2 1 copy please add one sheet of white paper to the last original The Auto Indicator and The Auto Magnification Select Indicator begin blinking The Print Key lights up orange and copy cycle cannot be initiated Therefore x Reset the paper size while the Auto Magnification Mode has been kept and depress the Print Key again Or switch to the Manual Mode by depressing the Mode Key reset the paper size and the magnification ratio and depress the Print Key again 179
