120 2 JAM REMOVAL PROCEDURES Precautions for Removal of Jams in the Copier and Duplex Unit The possible location of the jam can be located by the Jam Location Markers either steadily shown or flashing off and on However there may be other sheets of paper remaining inside the copier which no Markers indicate Check all possible locations inside the copier for a jammed sheet of paper by referring to the corresponding jam removal procedure Do not touch the areas marked with HIGH VOLTAGE and CAUTION HOT inside the copier with bare hands When raising the Upper Half of the Fusing Unit be sure to take hold of Fusing Unit Handle Ml When swinging down the Upper Half of the copier be sure to push the marking Before attempting to slide out the Drawer always perform step 6 to remove any sheet of paper from the inside of Left Door C1 Toner has not yet been fused onto the sheet of paper jammed before the Fusing Unit When removing this paper use care not to dirty your hands with toner
