82 3 USING OTHER FUNCTIONS TO MAKE COPIES 3 3 Interrupting One Copying Job with Another 10760667 To make an interrupt copy during a multi copy cycle or after control panel settings have been made depress the Interrupt Key then make the new panel settings Depression of the Interrupt Key causes the copier to store the previously set copying job in memory A second depression of the Key allows the copier to resume the mode it was in before the Interrupt Key was first depressed Depress the Interrupt Key The Key may be depressed even while the current job is being carried out The Interrupt Indicator appears on the Message Display and after a short time the copy cycle is stopped Ready to copy AUTO xl 000 PAPER Make the necessary control panel settings for the interrupt job and start the copy cycle Depress the Interrupt Key a second time The Interrupt Indicator goes out and the Indicators on the control panel show the settings the copier was in before the Interrupt Key was depressed first time 1 NOTE I If the current job involves the Sort or Group Mode both Sort and Group Mode cannot be selected in the interrupt cycle
