Syntax:
<profile> <mgc-ip>|<mgc-dn> [mgcport <mgc-port>][mgc2 off|{on <mgc2-ip>|<mgc2-dn>}]
[mgc2port <mgc2-port>] [transport udp|tcp] [encode long|short] [pbit <pbit>] [dscp
<dscp>] <profile> [it <it>] [prefix <prefix> <start-num> <suffix-len>] [softswitch
<softswitch>] [vbd off|on] [rtpport <start-rtp-port> <end-rtp-port>][dmtimeout
<start-timeout> <short-timeout> <long-timeout>] [retrantime <init-retrantime> <min-
retrantime> <max-retrantime> <retran-window>] [rfc2833 off|{on <payload-type>}] [t38
off|on] [forcever off|on]
where
<mgc-ip>
<mgc2-ip>
=
The primary and secondary MGC server IP address.
<mgc-dn>
<mgc2-dn>
=
The primary and secondary MGC server domain name (maximum 256
characters), for example host.netdomain.
<mgc-port>
<mgc2-port>
=
The primary and secondary MGC server port.
transport
udp|tcp
=
Select whether to use UDP or TCP as the transport protocol.
encode
long|short
=
Select whether to use the long or short h248 coding type format.
pbit =
The 802.1p priority bit for H.248 and RTP packets (0 ~ 7).
dscp =
The DSCP bit for H.248 and RTP packet (0 ~ 63).
<it> =
Set the inactivity-timer which is a keep-alive timer from the MG to the MGC (0
~65535 in units of 10 milliseconds).
If there are no messages from the MGC to the MG, after each inactivity-time
out, the MG sends a "notify" packet to the MGC. The units are 10 milliseconds.
<prefix> =
Sets the ephemeral termination ID’s prefix. It can be up to 31 characters.
Default is RTP/
<start-num> =
Specify the ephemeral termination ID’s start number (0~999999999999999).
<suffix-len> =
Specify how many digits to use for the ephemeral termination ID (0 ~ 15,
excluding the prefix).
softswitch =
Set this to zxss10-ss if the MGC is a ZTE ZXSS10 soft switch, set it to nortel-
cs1500 if the MGC is a Nortel CS1500, set it to nortel-cs2000 if the MGC is a
Nortel CS2000, otherwise set this to DEFVAL.
vbd off|on =
Turn "Voice Band Data" support on or off. Voice band data uses V.152 to define
settings for transmitting data in order to improve voice quality.
When you select on, whether or not V.152 is actually used depends on the
MGC's configuration.
<start-rtp-
port>
<end-rtp-
port>
=
Set the start (4000 ~ 64000) and end (5000 ~ 65000) of the UDP port range
for RTP protocol. This must be an even number.
Note: The end port must be more than 1000 greater than the start port.
<start-
timeout>
=
Set the timeout period if the user doesn't send any DTMF signal after off-hook,
in seconds (0 ~ 99). 0 disables the timeout.
<short-
timeout>
=
Set the H.248 short time-out, in seconds (1 ~ 99). You define the short and
long timeout values and the MGC selects which to use.
