equal to “Max. Age,” then this device will reconfigure
itself as a root. Once two or more devices on the

spanning-tree instances. A common and internal
spanning tree (CIST) is a collection of the following:
ISTs in each MST region, and the common spanning
tree (CST) that interconnects the MST regions, and a
single spanning tree. All other MST instances are
numbered from 1 to 15.
