Adjusting Picture
To call up picture menu
Parental Lock
The parental lock blocks operation of the TV
set. You can block all the channels or only
specific channels. You can block all the
channels once, daily or for a certain period of
time.
If the parental lock has been activated, the PIN
code is requested when the appliance is turned
on.
If the PIN is not entered or is entered
incorrectly, the set switches back to Standby
after a short time. The red indicator light on the
front of the set is then lit.
Activating parental lock:
Call up the TV menu
Select the line “Child lock”
Confirm with OK and ...
enter a four-digit PIN code
Confirm with OK
Remember the PIN code! (see
page 31)
In the next menu you can choose whether the
parental lock applies to all or specific channels,
immediately or after the TV has been switched
off or after a specific time period.
Setting the picture on the TV:
Press MENU at the top.
The ”Operation on the set”
menu is displayed.
Press MENU until the Picture
hold, Contrast or Colour line is
marked.
Adjust with – or +
Standard settings
In the ”Standard settings” menu you can enter
your personal settings for sound and picture,
i.e. save volume, treble, bass, balance, picture
hold, contrast, colour as standard settings, call
your normal values or call the ”Factory
setting”.
First set the picture and sound to suit your
requirements and then save them as your
normal values.
Show the TV menu with the
MENU button
Mark ”Standard setting”
Call the ”Standard setting”
menu
Mark ”Store”
Save with OK.
Daily Use
Select menu lines
adjust
“Contrast”
The contrast must be set higher for brighter
environments.
“Colour”
Use the colour of people’s faces as a guide. Set
so that people have a natural face colour.
“Brightness”
This setting adjusts the brightness.
“Sharpness”
This sets the best outline resolution.
“Tint”
This function allows fine alteration of the red or
blue colour toning.
“Photo CD”
Turn on this function for optimum image
definition if you want to view pictures on a
photo CD.
