Tektronix MSO64 [158/628] Trigger on a setup hold event

Tektronix MSO44 [158/628] Trigger on a setup hold event
4. Tap Trigger When and select the condition on which to trigger.
5. Tap the Time Limit field to set the time value for the Trigger When condition.
6. Tap the Upper Threshold field and use the assigned multipurpose knob (or double-tap the field and use the keypad to
enter a value) to set the value that defines the upper window threshold.
7. Tap the Lower Threshold field and use the assigned multipurpose knob (or double-tap the field and use the keypad to
enter a value) to set the value that defines the lower window threshold.
8. If Trigger When is set to a limit value, use the Time Limit field to set the time constraints for how long a signal stays within
or outside the window.
9. Use the Threshold Crossing field drop-down list to set the window threshold to cross when Trigger When is set to Inside
> Limit or Outside > Limit.
10. To further refine the trigger conditions, set Logic Qualification to On and tap the Define inputs button to define the logic
condition of any other signals that must be true at the same time as the pulse width trigger event is true. See Logic
Qualification - Define Inputs configuration menu on page 487.
Trigger on a logic event
Use the Logic trigger to trigger the oscilloscope when the specified logic conditions occur on any combination of analog and
digital inputs.
To trigger on a Logic event:
1. Double-tap the Trigger badge to open the Trigger configuration menu.
2. Tap Trigger Type and select Logic. See Logic Trigger configuration menu on page 468.
3. Set Use Clock Edge? to enable or disable finding logic patterns that occur on the clock edge of a specified channel.
4. Tap Logic Pattern Define Inputs and use the Logic Trigger menu to set the logic state and the signal logic threshold level
for each analog or digital signal.
5. Tap Clock Source and select the signal to use as the clock.
6. Use the Clock Edge controls to set the signal transition edge to use to evaluate the logic condition at the clock transition.
7. Tap the Clock Threshold field and set the threshold level that the clock signal must pass through to be considered a valid
transition. The clock threshold value is independent of the input signal threshold(s).
8. Tap Trigger When and select the waveform condition on which to trigger when not using a clock edge.
9. Tap Define Logic and set the logic condition that must occur with all specified signals to cause a trigger event.
Trigger on a setup-hold event
Use the Setup & Hold trigger to trigger on a waveform when a data signal changes state inside of a specified setup and hold
time, relative to a clock edge.
To trigger on a Setup/Hold event:
1. Double-tap the Trigger badge to open the Trigger configuration menu.
2. Tap Trigger Type and select Setup & Hold. See Setup and Hold Trigger configuration menu on page 482.
3. Tap Clock Source and select the signal to use as the clock.
4. Tap the Clock Level field and set the threshold level that the clock signal must pass through to be considered a valid
transition. The clock threshold value is independent of the input signal threshold(s).
5. Use Clock Edge to set which clock signal edge to use to start the trigger evaluation.
