CORRECTIVE ACTION
a. Check that the fan rotates freely.
b. Clean the air heat exchanger properly.
After temperature decrease, the
thermal protector is reset
automatically.
If the protector is activated frequently,
replace the motor or call your local
Daikin dealer.
a. Invert two phases of the power supply
(by licensed electrician).
b. Check the connection of all phases.
After inverting two phases or fixing the
power supply cables properly, the
protector is reset automatically, but
the controller still needs to be reset.
a. Check the operation condition of the
unit.
After temperature decrease, the
thermal protector resets automatically
but the controller still needs to be
reset.
a. Check the water pump.
After finding the cause, the flow switch
is reset automatically, but the
controller still needs to be reset.
a. Check safety devices (refer to
symptom "5. One of the safety devices
is activated").
b. Test the voltage in the supply panel
and, if necessary, in the electrical
compartment of the unit (voltage drop
due to supply cables is too high).
a. Check and adjust the temperature
setting.
b. The cooling capacity of the unit is too
low. Call your local Daikin dealer.
c. Recalculate the water flow.
a. Fix the unit as described in the
installation manual.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
a. Mechanical failure (fan is blocked).
b. Air flow in the unit too low or outdoor
temperature too high.
a. Two phases of the power supply are
connected in the wrong phase
position.
b. One phase is not connected properly.
a. Unit is working outside the operation
range.
a. No water flow.
a. One of the safety devices is activated.
b. Voltage is too low.
a. The temperature setting on the
controller is too low.
b. The heat production in the water
circuit is too high.
c. Water flow is too high.
a. Unit has not been fixed properly.
