3 x Set-up and installation

• Place the shaft on the valve and turn the valve so that

the shaft is positioned as shown in Fig 3-8.

If the valve is not positioned in this way before the actuator is fitted, it will allow water to flow both to the hot

water storage tank and to the heating system during operation.

• Fit the body of the 3-way diverter valve into the

pipe system. To do this, proceed as follows (see

also Fig 3-9):

– Remove the clips from the flow hose (1).

– Separate the hose (2).

– Fit the connecting piece (see Fig 3-4, Item H) to

connection 2 on the 3-way diverter valve (3).

– Fit the 3-way diverter valve in the flow hose (4).

– Fit the securing clips (5, 6, 7).

– Attach the actuator (8). Slide the actuator on

to the shaft. Take care that the shaft is not

rotated while doing this and that the previ-

ously determined valve position is maintained.

• Fit the rotary knob to the valve actuator housing - see Fig 3-10.

Room heating Hot water storage tanks

Make sure that the rotary knob is fully pushed in so that is can

be actuated automatically by the unit. The rotary knob can be

operated manually if it is slightly lifted.
