2.4 Accessories for the hot water storage tank

2.4.1 Non return valves

To prevent heat loss from the connection pipes when the heating pump is switched off and during periods when no domestic

water is drawn off (gravity circulation), you should fit EKSGB (optional) non-return valves in the connections to the hot water

storage tank.

2.4.2 Scalding protection

There is a danger of scalding at hot water temperatures over 60 °C. Fitting scalding protection (on-site) enables the hot water

temperature to be varied continuously and limited.
