Contacts settings
Thephonebooksettingsmenuenablesyou
to view memory status, set the preferred
storagemedia,determinewhicheldsappear
in the phonebook, edit/send a vCard, activate
functionssuchasspeeddialandpassword
protection,andsetcallervideos.
To view memory status:
1. Fromthemainmenu,selectContacts
Settings > Memory Status.
2. PressOKtodisplaymemorystatus.
To set the preferred storage:
1. Fromthemainmenu,selectContacts >
Settings > Default Storage.
2. Presstheup/downnavigationkeyto
highlightthepreferredstoragelocation,
then press OKtoconrm.
Thephonebookeldsincludeadditionalcontact
information,suchasHomeNumber,Ofce
Number,FaxNumber,CompanyName,E-Mail
Address, Incoming Picture, Incoming Ringtone,
CallerGroup,andIncomingVideo.Youcan
choosetodeactivatetheseeldsforallcontacts
ifthissimpliesthephonebookforyou.Youcan
laterreactivatetheeldsifdesired.
Toeditthephonebookelds:
1. Fromthemainmenu,Contacts >
Settings > Fields.
Alistofeldsisdisplayed.
2. Highlightaeldandusetheenterkeyto
checkoruncheckit.Whendone,select
Save.
My vCard
AvCardisavirtualcallingcardthatyoucan
sendtopeople.Itcancontainyourname,cell
phonenumber,homenumber,ofcenumber,
faxnumber,companyname,ande-mail
address.
To edit and send your vCard:
1. Fromthemainmenu,selectContacts >
Settings > My vCard.
2. SelecttheEdit optiontollintheelds,
thenselectSave.SelecttheSend to
option to send the vCard by SMS, MMS,
Bluetooth,orle.
NOTE: See the next chapter for more information about
sendingMMSandSMSmessages.
Speed Dial
Thespeeddialoptionassignssinglenumber
keys to phone numbers of your contacts so that
youcanquicklycallthosenumbersbyholding
theassignedkeys.
Toassignakeytoaspeeddialnumber:
1. Fromthemainmenu,selectContacts >
Settings > Speed Dial > Number List.
2. Highlightanynumberfrom2~9,then
selectOptions > Edit.Chooseacontact
fromyourphonebookandselectOK.
