HighlightEnable Recognition and press OK.
Usetheup/downnavigationkeytoselect
betweenOnandOff.
Whileonthemainidlescreen,youmayalso
enablevoicecommandbypressingandholding
the right soft key foratleastthreeseconds,
oruntilyouarepromptedto“SayCommand.”
Say“Detail”orpresstheleftsoftkey to
displayalistofcommandsyoucanuse.
NOTE. Tocallacontactusingvoicecommand,saythename
exactlyasitislistedinthephonebook.Forexample,tocallan
entrynamedMichaelPhilip,simplysay“CallMichaelPhilip.”
YoucanalsocreateaSpeechDependent(SD)
tagforcontactlists,shortcutlists,andcitylists.
AnSDtagisacustomizedtagthatyouwant
thephonetoassociatewithaparticularentry.
Forexample,youwanttocallanentrynamed
MichaelPhilip,butyouonlywanttosayhis
nickname,“Mike.”
To create an SD tag:
1. GotoSettings > Phone Settings >
Voice Command Settings > SD Tags.
2. Highlighttheitemyouwanttocreatean
SDtagfor.Choosetheentryfromthelist,
then press Options.
3. Whenthenextscreenappears,pressOK
toadd.
4. Saythename/tagafterthebeep.When
done, press OK.
The Digit Adaptation item in the Voice
Commandmenuallowsyoutoimprovethe
phone’srecognitionrate.Sayacommandstring
toenablethephonetorecognizeyourvoice
andthemannerbywhichyouuttercommands.
The Preferred Digit Lengthoptionallowsyou
toturnon/offthedigitlengthsettingsandselect
thedigitlengthsyoupreferusingtheenterkey.
Flight Mode
Settingthephonetoightmodedisablesallcall
functions to save power consumption and avoid
calldisruptionswhileplayingmediales.Goto
Settings > Phone Settings > Flight Mode to
setyourmodepreference.
Greeting Text
The Settings > Phone Settings > Greeting
Text option sets a short phrase that appears
eachtimethephoneisturnedon.
Set the status to On if you want the text to
appear,ortoOffifyoudonotwantittoappear.
Enteroreditthegreetingtextusingthekeypad.
Auto Update of Date and Time
Auto update of date and time is a network
servicethatautomaticallyupdatesthedateand
timeinyourphonewhenyoutravelorifdaylight
savingstimeisusedinyourarea.
