8 10 WHEELS TIRE Hub Bearing Installation Notes Hub Bearing CAUTION Do not lay the wheel on the ground with the disc facing down This can damage or warp the disc Place blocks under the wheel so the disc does not touch the ground Before installing the wheel bearings blow any dirt or foreign particles out of the hub with compressed air to prevent contamination of the bearings Inspect the bearings and replace them if necessary Lubricate them and install them using the bearing driver set special tool so that the marked or shielded sides face out Front Hub Bearing Hub Bearing Removal Notes Remove the hub bearing by tapping evenly around the bearing inner race as shown Bearing Removal Rear Hub Bearing A Bearing Driver Set 57001 1129 2 Bearing Driver 1 Bearing Driver Holder 3 Bearing Driver 1 Bar 2 Distance Collar 3 Hub Bearing Inspect the grease seal and replace if necessary Press it in until it stops at the circlip in the hole using the same special tools used for bearing installation
