1.Ifthematerialdrumhasalreadybeenremoved
fromthesupplyunit,gotostep2.Ifyouneedto
removethematerialpail,performsteps1through
6ofChangePail,page35.Pumpmustbeinthe
fulldownposition(airmotorshaftfullyextended).
2.Makesuretheramplateisdownandtheram
directorvalve(CC)isintheneutralposition.
3.FollowPressureReliefProcedure,page33.
4.Bleedoffexcessmaterialandpressurein
thesystembyopeningthedispensegunand
catchingthematerialinawastecontainer.
5.OnADM,turnoffthesystemheat(D).
6.Turnthemainpowerswitchoff.
7.Disconnectallmaterialhoses.
8.Ifsystemincludespumpshield,removethe
pumpsheetmetalenclosure(A).SeeFig28.
a.Removethecoverscrews(B).
b.Removeheaterbands(HB)anddisconnect
thegroundwire(R).
9.Pumpmustbeinthefulldownposition(airmotor
shaftfullyextended).
10.Ifventhoodisinstalled,removeit.
11.Disconnectelectricalcablefromairmotor(X).
12.Removeairlinefromairmotorandairlinestothe
followerblow-offvalve.
13.Removenuts(F)frompump/airmotortierods
atthepumpend.
14.Removenutsandbolts(T)holdingcabletractto
airmotorsupportplate.Slideendofcabletrack
outboardofthemountingplate.
15.Removescrewsandwashersfrompumpinlet.
16.Fullyloosenpumprodcoupler(G)totheair
motorrod.
17.Slowlyraiseelevatortoachieveenough
separationofthepump(airmotor)tierodsto
removethepump.
18.Removethepump(P).
19.Reversethisproceduretoreinstallthenewor
rebuiltairmotor.
