This appliance is designed for processing
normal household quantities in the home or
similar quantities in non-industrial applications.
Non-industrial applications include e.g. use in
employee kitchens in shops, offices, agri-
cultural and other commercial businesses,
as well as use by guests in boarding houses,
small hotels and similar dwellings.
Use the appliance for processing normal
quantities of food for domestic use.
The appliance is maintenance-free.
These operating instructions refer to several
models:
– Motor block with step switch
– Motor block with retractable switch
Please keep the Instructions for Use in a safe
place.
If passing on the appliance to a third party,
always include the operating instructions.

2 Lid with feed tube and funnel
The funnel is used to add dosed amounts
of liquids and to close the feed tube.
a with funnel:
For topping up liquids in small dosed
amounts, e.g. oil for mayonnaise.
b without funnel:
For adding solid ingredients and large
amounts of liquids.
3 Blender support with blade
compartment
4 Rotary switch
a MMB1... :
M = Pulse switch at maximum speed, grip
switch for required blending duration
0/off = Stop
1 = Low speed setting
2 = Maximum speed setting
b MMB2... :
Before use, press the rotary switch and slowly
release.
M = Pulse switch at maximum speed, grip
switch for required blending duration
0/off = Stop
= Operating speed steplessly adjustable
5 Motor block
Pull the cable out of the housing
Safety Information

Connect and operate the appliance only in
accordance with the specifications on the rating
plate.
Do not use if the cord or appliance is damaged.
Keep children away from the appliance.
Do not allow persons (also children) with
restricted physical sensory perception or mental
abilities or with lack of experience and know-
ledge to operate the appliance unless they are
supervised or have been instructed in the use of
the appliance by somebody who is responsible
for their safety.
Do not pull the cord over sharp edges or hot
surfaces. To prevent injury, a damaged power
cord must be replaced by the manufacturer
or his customer service or a similarly qualified
person. Only our customer service may repair
the appliance.
Never immerse the motor block in water or hold
under running water.
Never operate the appliance without a com-
pletely assembled blender. Always attach the lid
before operating the appliance.
If appliances feature a glass jug, the lid must be
locked completely.
If there is a power cut, the appliance remains
switched on and will start up again when the
power is restored. Never expose the glass
container to severe temperature fluctuations.
While working, always hold the lid firmly with
one hand. However, do not place hand over
the refill opening!
Wait until the liquid is lukewarm before pouring
it into the container.
