DIFFERENTIAL LOCK

The user engages the differential lock using the lever (fig. 2, ref. D). The differential lock remains

engaged using the block lever (fig. 2, ref. B). Use the differential lock when drive wheels slip. To ensure

the wheels' adherence it is recommended to engage the differential lock on slopes, when using the

machine downhill, on strong slopes and when mowing cross-wise. It is very useful to engage the

differential lock when mowing cross-wise on slopes because in this way the machine will evenly move

forward and the front wheel will not slip. The front wheel can be also blocked into straightforward position

working, the pulley detachment should be minimal and should take place only in the final phase of the

movement of the P.T.O guide pulley, that can be adjusted using the screw (fig. 6, ref. A).

USEFUL TIPPS FOR EFFICIENT USE

1) Never strain the engine: when fumes are emitted from the exhaust it means that it is being strained.

Slow down.

2) Do not leave the machine out in the rain.

3) Frequently sharpen the mower blades: the cut will be better and the engine will not strain too much.

4) Keep the engine at the maximum r.p.m. during mowing and adjust the speed according to the grass

height.

5) Keep the grids above the engine and the cooling fins of the hydraulic motor (fig. 10 – 14)

MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION

CAUTION!

- Disconnect the plug before performing any cleaning, maintenance or repair operation. Always

wear suitable clothing and working gloves.

- When the machine or part of it is lifted to carry out maintenance operations, always remember

to use suitable fixing tools such as holders and safety locks.

- When carrying out maintenance operations and/or when the machine is tilted without safety

locks or supports, never leave it unguarded in places where inexperienced people and children

could have easy access to it.

- Protect the environment: carefully dispose of used oils, petrol and any other pollutant product!
