2.6 Description of mechanism
For MEX-E model:
Compressed air from the compressor enters the radiator (3) via the air line, where it is
cooled by the fan (2) powered by electric drive (9), which is switched on via the electric
switch (10). The cooled air from the radiator is fed into the cyclone separator (4), where
the air is dried by removal of moisture. The compressed air from the cyclone separator
enters the coalescer (7), where moisture is denitively removed from the air. From the
coalescer, the compressed air enters the distributing header (5), from where it can be
supplied to 3 consumers simultaneously.
For MEX-P model:
Compressed air from the compressor enters the radiator (3) via the air line, where it
is cooled by the fan (2) powered by pneumatic drive (1). The fan speed is set using a
pressure regulator on the air-preparation unit. The cooled air from the radiator is fed into
the cyclone separator (4), where the air is dried by removal of moisture. The compressed
air from the cyclone separator enters the coalescer (7), where moisture is denitively
removed from the air. From the coalescer, the compressed air enters the distributing
header (5), from where it can be supplied to 3 consumers simultaneously, as well as to
the pneumatic motor (1) via the air-preparation unit (6). In the air-preparation unit, oil
is added to reduce wear of the pneumatic motor’s moving components and additional
condensate is removed.
