Press [FUNC] + [LFO] to access this menu. Here you can conveniently access the TRACK LEVEL
parameter of all the eight audio tracks. (0–127)
10.11 SEQUENCER FEATURES
10.11.1 PARAMETER LOCKS
Parameter locks makes it possible to set every trig to have its own unique parameter values. The note
trigs of an audio track can, for example, have dierent pitch, amp or filter settings. It is possible to pa-
rameter lock the parameters found on the PARAMETER pages, and you can apply parameter locks to
all types of tracks. For a complete overview of all parameters on the PARAMETER pages, please see “11.
AUDIO TRACK PARAMETERS” on page 36, and “12. MIDI TRACK PARAMETERS” on page 43.
To apply parameter locks in GRID RECORDING mode, press and hold the [TRIG] key of a trig (note trig
or a lock trig). Use the DATA ENTRY knobs to adjust the parameters you want to lock. The graphics
become inverted for the locked parameter, and the locked parameter values are displayed. The [TRIG]
key of the locked trig blinks red (for note trigs) or yellow (for lock trigs) to indicate the trig now contains a
parameter lock.
Remove a single parameter lock by holding [TRIG] + pressing the DATA ENTRY knob of the locked pa-
rameter. You can erase all parameter locks from a trig if you remove the note trig and then enter it again.
In LIVE RECORDING mode, turning a DATA ENTRY knob, or playing the [TRIG] keys in CHROMATIC
mode, will input parameter locks to the active track. Note trigs will be locked accordingly, and lock trigs
containing the locks will be placed on the sequencer steps not containing note trigs.
To remove the parameter locks of all tracks while LIVE RECORDING mode is active, press and hold
[FUNC] + [CLEAR].
Press [NO] + one (or several) of the [TRIG] keys to erase a sequence of recorded trigs on a specific
track (or on several tracks) in time with the sequencer, i.e. all steps reached on the pattern playing will be
erased until the keys are released.
You can also remove specific parameter locks in real time by pressing [NO] while pressing the DATA
ENTRY knob corresponding to the parameter that will be removed.
Up to 72 dierent parameters can be locked in a pattern. A parameter counts as one (1)
locked parameter no matter how many trigs that lock it. If for example the cuto parame-
ter of the filter is locked on every sequencer step, there are still 71 other parameters that
can be locked.
10.11.2 CONDITIONAL LOCKS
On the TRIG page, there is a parameter called COND (Trig Condition) with which a set of conditional
rules can be applied to any trig, using a parameter lock. Each setting is a logical condition that will deter-
mine whether a trig set in the sequencer will be triggered or not. If the condition is true then the trig will
become active and aect the sequence. You must first place a trig to where you want to apply a condi-
tional lock.
The sequencer needs to be in FILL mode to activate the conditional lock called FILL. Fore more informa-
tion, please see “10.11.3 FILL MODE” on page 34.
The following conditional rules are set using the COND parameter:
FILL is true (will activate the trig) when fill mode is active (see above).
FILL is true when FILL is not.
PRE is true if the most recently evaluated trig condition on the same track was true.
PRE is true when PRE is not.
