the usage of the unit.

•

Do not leave children unattended to avoid them using the

unit as a toy.

•

During operation and breaks between operation cycles,

the unit should be placed out of reach of children.

•

For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene

bags, used as packaging, unattended.

Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene

bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!

•

Periodically check the power cord and power plug

integrity.

•

If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by

the manufacturer, service or similar qualified personnel

to avoid danger.

•

Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the

unit, if any malfunction is detected or after it was dropped,

unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center

from the contact address list given in the warranty certifi-

cate and on the website www.rondell.ru.

•

Transport the unit in the original packaging only.

•

Keep the unit out of reach of children and disabled per-

sons.

THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.

COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN PRODUCTION AREAS

AND WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage at low temperature

keep it for at least three hours at room temperature

before switching on.

–

Before switching the unit on for the first time, make sure

that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage speci-

fied on the unit body.

–

The unit is intended for operation in an AC power net-

work with the frequency of 50 Hz, it does not need any

additional settings to operate with the required nominal

frequency.

–

Unpack the grill press and remove all package mate-

rials, wipe the grill body with a slightly damp cloth and

then wipe it dry.

–

Unwind the power cord completely.

– Place the grill on a flat heat-resistant surface away from

all kitchen sources of heat (such as gas stove, electric

stove or cooktop) with free access to the mains socket.

–

Place the grill keeping at least a 20 cm gap between the

grill base and the wall and 30 cm of space above the grill.

–

Do not place and do not use the grill near highly inflam-

mable materials or liquids and objects subject to thermal

deformation.

–

Use the unit in places with proper ventilation.

–

Turn the upper frying plate lock (4) and unlock it.

Before using the grill for cooking for the first time prepare the

frying plates and removable plates. For this:

–

Take the handle (1) and open the grill.

–

Press the button (6) (pic. 1) and remove the lower plate

(10) (pic. 2).

–

Press the button (2) and remove the upper plate (11).

–

Remove the tray (5).

–

Wash the tray (5) and the frying plates (10 and 11) with

warm water and neutral detergent and dry them thor-

oughly.

Notes: removable plates are dishwasher-safe.

–

Install the plates (10 and 11) back to their places; to do

this, match the grooves on the plates (10 and 11) with the

back locks, press alternately on the from part of the plates

until the buttons (2 and 6) clicking.

–

Install the tray (5) back to its place.

–

Before using the grill apply some vegetable oil on the non-

stick coating of the frying plates (10 and 11), spread the

oil over the whole surface and wipe the surplus oil with a

paper napkin.

–

Close the grill, insert the power plug into the socket, the

power indicator on the button (8) will light up and you will

hear a short sound signal.

–

Press the button (8) to switch the grill on. You will hear a

sound signal, the display (12) will light up and the power

indicator will glow constantly.

–

Turn the switch knob (9) and select the desired cook-

ing mode.

–

To confirm your choice, press the knob (9) button, you will

hear a sound signal.

– The message “HEATING” will start glowing on the dis-

play (2), the plates will start heating up to the set tem-

perature.

–

When the grill heats up, you will hear 3 sound signals and

the text “ADD PRODUCT” will light up on the display (12).

–

Switch the grill off by pressing the button (8).

–

Take the handle (1) and open the grill.

–

Wait until the grill cools down completely and remove the

remaining oil from the removable plates (10 and 11) with

a paper towel.

Notes: While the first grill operation the heating elements

burn, therefore occurrence of a small amount of smoke or

foreign smell is possible. It is normal and is not a sign of

malfunction.
