FRONT FORK CHAS 5 Measure Oil level Out of specification Add or reduce oil Oil Level 90 mm 3 54 in From the top of the inner fork NOTE ______________________________ When measuring the oil level fully compres inner fork tube without fork spring Place the front fork on upright position 6 Before installing the front fork temp tighten the cap bolt INSTALLATION Reverse the REMOVAL procedure Note the following points 1 Install Front fork Temporary tighten the pinch bolts NOTE ______________________________ Hold the inner tube with its top 52 mm 2 04 i above the top of the handle crown 2 Tighten Pinch bolt Linder bracket Cap bolt Pinch bolt Handle crown Pinch Bolt Under Bracket 35 Nm 3 5 m kg 25 ft lb Cap Bolt 23 Nm 2 3 m kg 17 ft lb Pinch Bolt Handle Crown 32 Nm 3 2 m kg 23 ft lb 7 73
