BRAKE FLUID INSPECTION Turn in Turn out INSP ADJ Pedal height is increased Pedal height is decreased After adjusting the brake pedal heig visually check the adjuster end throu the hole of the joint holder The juster end must appear within this hole Tighten the locknut N Locknut 26 Nm 2 6 m kg 19 ftdb BRAKE FLUID INSPECTION 1 Place the motorcycle on a level surface 2 Inspect Brake fluid level Fluid level is under LOWER level Replenish ILJI Recommended Brake Fluid DOT 3 E For front brake E For rear brake NOTE ________________________________ Position the motorcycle straight up when specting the brake fluid level When inspecting the front brake fluid level m sure the master cylinder top is horizontal by tu ing the handlebars Before inspecting the rear brake fluid level move the side cover Right Refer to the SIDE COVERS section in CHAPTER 3 3 81
