REAR SHOCK ABSORBER AND SWINGARM CHAS HANDLING NOTES ES033__________ This shock absorber contains highly pre rized nitrogen gas Read and understand following information before handling shock absorber The manufacturer canno held responsible for property damage or sonal injury that may result from impr handling Do not tamper with or attempt to open cylinder assembly Do not subject shock absorber to an o flame or other high heat source This cause the unit to explode due to exces gas pressure Do not deform or damage the cylinde any way Cylinder damage will resu poor damping performance Take care not to scratch the contact face of the piston rod with the cylinde oil could leak out When scrapping the shock absorber R to the NOTES ON DISPOSAL section NOTES ON DISPOSAL Shock absorber disposal steps Gas pressure must be released before dis ing of shock absorber To do so drill a 2 mm 0 08 0 12 in hole through the cylin wall at a point 15 20 mm 0 6 0 8 in f the end of the gas chamber Wear eye protection to prevent damage from escaping gas and or metal 7 99
