THROTTLE CABLE FREE PLAY ADJUSTMENT INSP ADJ NOTE ______________________________ Left hand and right hand throttle stop s must be set so that both cylinders are w together After adjusting engine idle speed throttle free play should be adjusted 6 Install Lower cowl Left Lower cowl Right Refer to the COWLINGS section in the CHAPTER 3 THROTTLE CABLE FREE PLAY ADJUSTMENT 1 Check Throttle cable free play Out of specification Adjust 2 Adjust Throttle cable free play Adjustment steps Loosen the locknut T Turn the adjuster 2 in or out until the cor rect free play is obtained Turn in Turn out Free play is increased Free play is decreased Tighten the locknut 3 25
