TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL INSPECTION TRANSMISSION OIL REPLACEMENT INSP ADJ TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL INSPECTIO 1 Place the motorcycle on a level surface warm up the engine for several minute 2 Stop the engine and inspect the oil through the level window J NOTE ______________________________ Wait a few minutes until level settles befo specting 3 Inspect Oil level Oil level should be between maxim and minimum 3 marks Oil level low Add oil to proper level ILII Recommended Oil SAE 10W30 Type SE Motor Oil NOTE ______________________________ Position motorcycle straight up when insp oil level a slight tilt to the side can produce readings TRANSMISSION OIL REPLACEMENT 1 Warm up the engine for several minutes 2 Remove Lower cowl Right Refer to the COWLINGS section in the CHAPTER 3 3 45
