DRIVE CHAIN LUBRICATION STEERING HEAD ADJUSTMENT INSP ADJ ra DRIVE CHAIN LUBRICATION The chain consists of many parts which against each other If the chain is not main properly it will wear out rapidly therefore the habit of periodically servicing the chain service is especially necessary when rid dusty conditions This motorcycle has a drive chain with sma ber O rings between the chain plates S cleaning high pressure washes and certain vents can damage these 0 rings Use only sene to clean the drive chain Wipe it dry thoroughly lubricate it with SAE 30 50W tor oil Do not use any other lubricants o drive chain They may contain solvents that damage the O rings STEERING HEAD ADJUSTMENT Securely support the motorcycle so the no danger of it failing over 1 Remove Lower cowl Right Lower cowl Left Refer to the COWLINGS section i CHAPTER 3 2 Elevate the front wheel by placing a su stand under the engine 3 89
