4.1

Cleaning and

maintenance

• Clean the appliance after each use to prevent grease or scale from building

up.

• Unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning it.

• Wait until the appliance has completely cooled down before taking the

steam attachments off the main appliance. Then empty the water tank.

• Never use aggressive cleaning agents (alcohol, acetone, benzene or scouring

agents) or stiff brushes for cleaning the plastic parts.

• Clean the housing and steam attachments with a soft, damp cloth and then

wipe them dry.

• Never clean the main appliance under a tap: it contains electrical compo-

nents.

• Never immerse the appliance in water. Do not allow water to penetrate the

appliance. Only use the appliance again once it is completely dry.

• To avoid damaging the appliance, do not use sharp or pointed implements

to clean it.

• Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight, and protect it from dirt and

damp.

• Store the appliance in a secure, clean and dry place.

This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.

All users are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, regardless

of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commer-

cial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally

acceptable manner.
