Try to access the VES-1616FE-55A using another service, such as Telnet. If you can
access the VES-1616FE-55A, check the remote management settings, firewall rules, and
SMT filters to find out why the VES-1616FE-55A does not respond to HTTP.
V I can see the Login screen, but I cannot log in to the VES-1616FE-55A.
1 Make sure you have entered the user name and password correctly. The default user
name is admin, and the default password is 1234. These fields are case-sensitive, so
make sure [Caps Lock] is not on.
2 Disconnect and re-connect the power adaptor or cord to the VES-1616FE-55A.
3 If this does not work, you have to reset the VES-1616FE-55A to its factory defaults. See
Section 50.4 on page 276.
V I cannot Telnet to the VES-1616FE-55A.
1 You may have exceeded the maximum number of concurrent Telnet sessions. Close
other Telnet session(s) or try connecting again later.
2 Check that you have enabled Telnet service access. If you have configured a secured
client IP address, your computers IP address must match it. Refer to the chapter on
access control for details.

V I cannot use FTP to upload / download the configuration file. / I cannot use

V I cannot access the Internet.
1 Check the hardware connections, and make sure the LEDs are behaving as expected. See
Section 2.3 on page 45.
