Replace the Failed Disk
If the array is running in mirror mode and one of the disks fails, you should remove the failed disk with a new
one. In this case, the sdb1[0](F) means that the sdb disk is failed.
You can simulate this by manage one of the disk fail.
Use this command to remove the fail disk from raid.
Then replace the first drive with the new disk and add it into array.
Check mdstat and the array is automatically recovering now.

root@Moxa:~# mdadm -r /dev/md0 /dev/sdb1
mdadm: hot removed /dev/sdb1 from /dev/md0
root@Moxa:~# mdadm -a /dev/md0 /dev/sdb1
root@Moxa:~# cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid1]
md0 : active raid1 sdb1[0] sdc1[1]
