If the difference in volume level between the CD and FM radio is too
great, adjust the FM signal level as follows.
Setting item: FM LEVEL
Setting content: LOW / HIGH
Setting item: PI SEEK
Setting content: OFF / AUTO
When OFF is selected, the unit automatically keeps receiving the related
local RDS station.
Setting item: RDS REGIONAL
Setting content: OFF / ON
You can select one of the patterns of the display languages.
Setting item: PTY LANGUAGE
Setting content: GB / NL / F / D / I / E
PTY31 (Emergency Broadcast) reception can be set to ON/OFF.
Setting item: PTY31
Setting content: ON / OFF
• The unit automatically gives priority to an Emergency Broadcast
whenever it begins, and interrupts the programme you are currently
listening to when PTY31 is set to on.
• The unit will show “ALARM” in the display during PTY31 reception.
When using discs containing both audio data and MP3/WMA data.
Setting item: PLAY MODE
Setting content: CD / CMPM
• If a disc is inserted, remove it from this unit before setting.
• When an MP3-compatible CD changer is used, this setting cannot be
applied.
Two type of font can be selected.
Setting item: LANGUAGE SELECT
Setting content: MODE1 / MODE2
• Russian font display does not apply to RDS mode.
You can adjust the brightness of the button lighting at night with the
dimmer.
Setting item: LED DIMMER LEVEL
Setting level: -2 to +2
• The adjustment is available when ON or AUTO is set in “Setting the
Brightness of the Backlighting” (page 38).
• The adjusted brightness is reflected in the button lighting and guide
indicator. However, if the level is set to “-2”, the guide indicator
turns off.
