domestic use. Potential risk may occur if not for such use.

MODE (FIG. 6)
WARNING:
Always ensure that your unit is switched off and
has fully stopped before changing the mode of
operation. Do not force the quick change lever.
It should move smoothly without resistance. If
you encounter problems, disconnect from power
supply and clean the lever mechanism.
For blow mode:

For suction/vacuum mode:
Switch the quick change lever (5) up so that it points

PREPARATIONS BEFORE EVERY USE
When using the blower vac make sure that you
secure your extension cord in the cord retainer as
shown in Figure 5. If you bought this unit in the United
Kingdom with a BS plug it will have a long cord
attached to it. In that case please secure the cord
coming out of the hedge trimmer in a similar way as
shown in Figure 5.
Choose your mode of operation.
STARTING YOUR BLOWER VAC
Note: For added safety, your blower vac has double
safety switching. If the tubes are not properly connected
to the motor housing or the tubes are not fully extended
and have not locked in place the blower vac will not start.
Check the troubleshooting guide later in this manual for
more information.
Connect the Blower Vac to the power supply. The
Livetool indicator™ (4) will glow blue once the blower
vac is connected to the electric power supply.
Pull the trigger (2) to start the blower vac.
STOPPING YOUR BLOWER VAC
To stop the blower vac, just release the trigger (2).
VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL (RBV3000VP ONLY)
As shown in figure 7 you can adjust the suction/blow
speed of the unit by turning the variable speed control
forward (increase speed) or backward (reduce speed).
EMPTYING THE COLLECTION BAG
WARNING
It is not necessary to remove the collection bag
from the blower vac when the bag needs to
be emptied. The rear side of the bag has a full
length zip to open it for emptying. Simply open
the zip and empty the contents. Ensure to close
the zip prior to operating the blower vac.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Never use water for cleaning your product, use
only a dry cloth. Do not clean with chemicals
or solvents as some can destroy critical plastic
parts.
Switch off and disconnect from the mains power
supply before cleaning your product.
Always empty the collection bag.
Always store the product in a dry place ensuring the
cable is not likely to be damaged on the sharp edges
etc.
CLEANING THE COLLECTION BAG
Empty the collection bag after each use to avoid
deterioration and obstruction of the air flow which will
reduce the performance of the unit.
Clean the collection bag as needed. With eye
protection on, turn the dust bag inside out after initial
emptying and vigorously shake out the dust and
debris.
