Troubleshooting

Burner stopped in service position
nothing happens.
Insufficient gas pressure. Set the distribution pressure.
Clean filter.
Gas pressure normal. Gas pressure switch set wrongly or
defective.
Air pressure switch closed (contact
welded).
Set or replace gas pressure switch.
Replace air pressure switch.
With leak testing device. Leaker test shutdown.
Leaker test not energized.
Unscrew or change valve.
Check, change fuse.
Burner shut down
in service position.
Parasitic flame on thermostatic cut-out. Check gas valves for leaks.
Put to post-ventilation.
P In “P” position.
Motor not running. Protection device open Insufficient air pressure.
Thermal relay tripped.
Protective device defective.
Replace air pressure switch.
Reset, adjust or replace the thermal relay.
Replace protection device.
Motor not running
Protection device closed.
Cable between protection device and
motor defective.
Motor defective.
Check cables.
Replace motor.

Motor running.

Air pressure switch wrongly set or
defective.
Fault in flame monitoring system.
Adjust or replace air pressure switch.
Check pressure pipes.
Check the position of the ionization sensor
according to the earth.
Replace the control and safety unit.
No ignition spark. Ignition electrode(s) short-circuited.
Ignition cable(s) perished.
Ignition transformer defective.
Set or replace electrodes.
Replace ignition cables.
Replace ignition transformer.
Control and safety unit. Replace control unit.
Magnetic valves do not open. Break in electrical connections. Check cables between control unit,
servomotor, and the valve.
Coil(s) short-circuited. Replace coil(s).
Mechanical jamming of valves or
proportion regulator.

Check the following if failure
occurs :
• power supply (power and control),
• gas supply (valve pressure and
opening),
• control components,
• switch positions on TC control panel.
If problem persists :
• Check various program symbols
described here below on the control
and safety unit.
All the safety components must not be
repaired but only replaced by identical
components.
Use only the manufacturer’s
original parts.
Note
After each operation :
• Check combustion and all circuits for
possible leaks.
• Perform safety check-up.
• Record results in the relevant
documents.
