make sure that switch D-fig. 10 of the

compressor is in position 0 (off), start

the engine, plug into the nearest sock-

et E-fig. 11 and operate the compres-

sor turning switch D-fig. 10 to position

I (on). Inflate the tyre to the pressure

specified in the “Inflation pressure”

paragraph, “Technical Specifications”

chapter.

For a more accurate reading, check

pressure gauge F-fig. 10 with the

compressor off;

❒

if after 5 minutes it is still impossible

to reach at least 1.5 bar, disengage com-

pressor from valve and current outlet,

then move the car forth for approx. ten

metres in order to distribute the seal-

ing fluid inside the tyre evenly, then re-

peat the inflation operation;

❒

If after this operation it is still impossi-

ble after 5 minutes to reach at least 1.8

bar, do not start driving since the tyre

is excessively damaged and the quick

tyre repair kit cannot guarantee suit-

able sealing, contact Fiat Dealership;

❒

if reaching the tyre pressure specified

in paragraph “Inflation pressure” in sec-

tion “Technical Specifications”, start

driving immediately;

Apply the adhesive label in a

position clearly visible by the

driver as a reminder that the tyre has

been treated with the quick repair kit.

Drive carefully, particularly on bends.

Do not exceed 80 km/h. Do not ac-

celerate or brake suddenly.

WARNING

after driving for about 10 minutes stop

and check again the tyre pressure; pull

up the handbrake;

Stop if the pressure has

dropped to less than 1.8

bars: the Fix & Go automatic quick

repair kit cannot work properly be-

cause the tyre is excessively damaged.

Go to a Fiat Dealership.

Убедитесь, что выключатель D (рис. 10)

трического разъема компрессора E

(рис. 11) к ближайшему гнезду прику-

ривателя и включите компрессор по-

воротом выключателя D (рис. 10) в

положение 1 (включено). Накачайте

шину до давления, указанного в параг-

рафе «Давление воздуха в шинах» гла-

вы «Технические характеристики».



Для получения точного результата про-

веряйте давление по манометру F

(рис. 10) при выключенном компрес-

соре.

Если в течение 5 минут давление в

шине не удалось поднять как минимум

до 1,5 бар, отсоедините компрессор

от вентиля шины и гнезда электричес-

кого разъема; затем переместите ав-

томобиль примерно на десять метров

для равномерного распределения гер-

метика по внутренней поверхности

шины и повторите процедуру накачи-

вания.

Если эта мера оказалась неэффектив-

ной, и давление в шине за 5 минут не

удалось поднять как минимум до 1,8

бар, двигаться на таком колесе нельзя

- оно серьезно повреждено и времен-

ными средствами отремонтировать

его невозможно. Обратитесь на стан-

цию технического обслуживания Fiat.



Если шину удалось накачать до давле-

ния, указанного в параграфе «Давле-

ние воздуха в шинах» главы «Техничес-

кие характеристики», начинайте дви-

жение немедленно.

Липкую наклейку с обозначени-

ем предельной скорости следует

прикрепить внутри салона в мес-

те, хорошо видимом водителю.

Наклейка служит напоминанием

водителю о том, что шина была

отремонтирована с помощью

комплекта для быстрого ремонта.

Во время движения соблюдайте

осторожность, особенно при про-

хождении поворотов. Скорость

движения не должна превышать

80 км/ч. Избегайте резкого уско-

рения и торможения.

Примерно через 10 мин после начала

движения остановитесь и снова про-

верьте давление воздуха в шинах; взве-

дите рычаг стояночного тормоза;


