ОБЩИЕ УКАЗАНИЯ

Если лампа не включается, перед тем

как заменить ее, проверьте соответс-

твующий предохранитель (расположе-

ние и назначение предохранителей

см. в параграфе «Замена предохрани-

телей» настоящей главы).

Перед тем как заменить лампу, про-

верьте ее электрические контакты на

наличие окисления.

Перегоревшие лампы следует заменять

лампами того же типа и мощности;

По соображениям безопасности после

замены ламп в фарах всегда прове-

ряйте направление светового потока

ближнего света фар.

CHANGE A BULB

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

When a bulb is not working, check that

the corresponding fuse is intact before

replacing it: refer to the “If a fuse

blows” paragraph in this chapter for

fuse location.

❒

before changing a bulb check the con-

tacts for oxidation;

❒

burnt bulbs must be replaced by others

of the same type and power;

❒

always check the height of the headlight

beam after changing a bulb, for reasons

of safety.

IMPORTANT A slight misting may appear

on the internal surface of the headlight:

this does not indicate a fault and is caused

by low temperature and the degree of hu-

midity in the air. Misting will rapidly dis-

appear when the headlights are switched

on. The presence of drop inside the head-

lights indicates infiltration of water. Go to

a Fiat Dealership.

TYPES OF BULBS

Various types of bulbs are fitted to your car:

A All glass bulb: clipped into place. Pull

to extract.

B Bayonet bulbs: to remove this type

of bulb from its holder, press the

bulb and turn it anticlockwise.

C Cylindrical bulbs: release from the

contacts to extract.

D-E Halogen bulbs: release the fastening

clip from the corresponding seat to

remove the lamp.

Halogen lamps must be han-

dled holding the metallic part

only. Touching the transparent

part of the bulb with your fin-

gers may reduce the intensity of the

emitted light and even compromise du-

ration of the lamp itself. In the case of

accidental contact, rub the lamp with a

cloth and spirit and leave to dry.

Modifications or repairs to

the electrical system (elec-

tronic control units) that are not car-

ried out properly or do not take the

technical specifications of the system

into account can cause malfunctions

leading to the risk of fire.

WARNING

Halogen bulbs contain pres-

surised gas which, if broken,

may cause small fragments of glass to

be projected outwards.

Галогенные лампы требуют

особого обращения: паль-

цами можно прикасаться

только к их металлическим

элементам. Следы пальцев на кол-

бе лампы могут вызвать снижение

интенсивности свечения и даже

уменьшение срока службы лампы.

Если произошло случайное при-

косновение, следует протереть

колбу лампы тканью, смоченной

спиртом, затем просушить.



A полностью стеклянная лампа:

защемляется в патроне. Чтобы

извлечь - потяните;

B крепления типа «байонет»: чтобы

извлечь из патрона, нажмите на

лампу и поверните против часовой

стрелки;

C цилиндрическая лампа: чтобы

извлечь - раздвиньте контакты;

D-E галогенные лампы: чтобы извлечь -

освободите пружинный держатель.

Модификация или ремонт ком-

понентов электрооборудования

автомобиля (электронных блоков

управления), проведенные с на-

рушениями установленных пра-

вил или технических требований,

могут в конечном счете привести

к возникновению пожара.

Колба галогенной лампы содер-

жит газ под давлением, поэтому

при разрушении колбы возни-

кает опасность разлета стеклян-

ных осколков.

ВАЖНО: Рассеиватели фар могут запотевать

изнутри: это не признак неисправности, а

следствие низкой температуры и высокой

влажности наружного воздуха. После

включения света фар запотевание быстро

исчезает. Наличие капель воды внутри фар

свидетельствует о попадании воды внутрь.

Обратитесь на станцию технического

обслуживания Fiat.
